I reside in West Seattle with my husband, two daughters and our two amazing(ly large) rescue dogs. I deeply care about Mother Earth and the environment - particularly our Salish Sea and the beloved Southern Resident Orcas. I am a Board member of The Whale Trail and actively involved in the efforts to protect marine mammals and their habitat. Some of my favorite activities include the thrill of watching whales from the shore, hiking, kayaking and paddle boarding. As a native Finn, I feel at home cheering for my favorite Seattle sports team which plays on the frozen rain water - Go Kraken!
